About Oling

Hello! I’m Tiffani, also known as Oling. I’ve been working in the esports industry in Malaysia for 11 years now, with a focus on the Southeast Asian & Chinese scenes.

I am actively involved in associations work to advocate for the rights of esports athletes. My goal is to elevate the status of esports by working towards its proper inclusion in multi-sport events, changing public perceptions and reducing stigma, and encouraging greater women’s participation in the field.

From my experiences working closely with local Dota talents in the past decade, I am also on a mission to showcase to the world that Malaysia has many talented esports athletes that deserve more recognition and support from the mainstream public.

In 2018, I founded the “Flight of the Valkyries“, an all-female esports tournament alongside my close friend Kimberly “Kimberry” Chan. It is our brainchild, and with it we hope to inspire more female gamers to enter esports.

Between 2022 and 2023, I was tasked with assembling national female teams for the Commonwealth Esports Championships and Global Esports Games in Riyadh, and successfully secured Gold for Malaysia on both occasions.
